THE REFLECT EFFECT
Our RFLECT Cover ensures a constant temperature and humidity – particularly, but not exclusively, in the hydroponic cultivation of fast-growing, fruit-bearing plants. It protects the roots from damage caused by algae formation. At the same time, incoming light is reflected (under canopy lighting), which improves light penetration of the plants and thus increases yield.
In the first few days and weeks, when the plant has not yet fully covered the illuminated area, the reflected light promotes stronger and more vigorous growth, thereby shortening the growth phase.
The RFLECT Tubes (30W, 3000K) for side and bottom lighting ensure optimal illumination. By illuminating the plant from all angles (inter canopy lighting), an additional efficiency of up to 2.75 µmol/J can be achieved.
This can result in up to 25% higher yields on the same cultivated area with only a 10% increase in consumption.
The combination of RFLECT Cover and RFLECT Tubes – positioned on all sides and at variable heights – creates optimal conditions for fast-growing, fruit-bearing plants. They can spread and bloom unrestricted in all directions.
