RFLECT 120X120 Reflective Cover

In the first days and weeks, when the plants have not yet fully covered the illuminated area, the reflected light promotes stronger and more vigorous growth, enabling a shorter vegetative phase. Additionally, the RFLECT Cover acts as a mulch layer, protecting the upper substrate layer from light (prevents algae growth), drying out, and heat. Due to reduced evaporation and optimal temperature, roots can now develop even in the uppermost substrate layer. This allows for full utilization of the pot and substrate volume, ensures more even water and nutrient distribution, and prevents salt build-up.

Our RFLECT Covers help maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels – especially, but not exclusively, in hydroponic cultivation of fast-growing, fruit-bearing plants. They protect roots from damage caused by algae. At the same time, incident light is reflected (under canopy lighting), allowing it to penetrate the plants more effectively and thus significantly increase yields.

With 5x5 or 6x6 planting holes, there are many options for positioning your plants. Smaller plants can be placed from above, larger ones from below. RFLECT Covers are highly flexible, making placement in either direction very easy.

The RFLECT Cover can be cleaned and reused many times with careful handling. We recommend not using aggressive cleaning agents, but simply rinsing with warm water.

In combination with our 30W LED RFLECT Tubes, improved yields can also be achieved in the lower areas of the plants: on average, up to 20-30% more! Of course, this may also depend on the genetics.
