RFLECT 120X60 Reflective Cover

In the early days and weeks, when the plants have not yet fully covered the illuminated area, the reflected light promotes stronger and more vigorous growth and allows for a shorter vegetative phase. In addition, the RFLECT Cover acts like a mulch layer and protects the upper substrate layer from light (preventing algae growth), drying out, and heat. Thanks to reduced evaporation and optimal temperature, roots can now also establish themselves in the uppermost substrate layer. This enables full utilization of the pot and substrate volume, ensures a more even distribution of water and nutrients, and prevents salt build-up.

Our RFLECT Covers help maintain a constant temperature and humidity—especially, but not exclusively, in hydroponic cultivation of fast-growing, fruit-bearing plants. They protect the roots from damage caused by algae formation. At the same time, the incoming light is reflected (under canopy lighting), allowing it to penetrate the plants more effectively and thus significantly boost yield.

Thanks to the 2x5 planting holes, there are many options for plant placement. Smaller plants can be positioned from above, larger ones from below. RFLECT Covers are very flexible, making placement in both directions very easy.

The RFLECT Cover can be cleaned and reused many times with careful handling. We recommend not using aggressive cleaning agents, but simply rinsing with warm water.

In combination with our 30W LED RFLECT Tubes, higher yields can also be achieved in the lower regions of the plants: on average up to 20-30% more! Of course, this can also depend on genetics.
