Our RFLECT Covers help maintain a consistent temperature and humidity—especially, but not exclusively, for hydroponic cultivation of fast-growing, fruit-bearing plants. They protect roots from damage caused by algae formation. At the same time, incoming light is reflected, allowing it to penetrate the plants more effectively and significantly increase yields.
The combination of RFLECT Covers and RFLECT Tubes—with lighting from all sides and adjustable height—creates an optimal environment for fast-growing, fruit-bearing plants. They can spread and bloom in all directions.
The RFLECT Tubes are also excellent for the seedling, cutting, and vegetative growth phases.
If pests or diseases occur that require spraying, the RFLECT Cover minimizes substrate exposure and protects both the substrate and beneficial microorganisms such as mycorrhizal fungi. Any spray residues can be easily wiped away. The RFLECT Tubes are IP65-certified and do not need to be removed during spraying treatments.
With RFLECT Tubes, it is possible to grow larger plants and significantly increase yields per area. Thanks to the growth-promoting effect of the RFLECT System, the cultivation period is only slightly longer compared to conventional growing methods.
With an efficiency of 2.75 µMol/J, a light color of 3000K, and a power output of 30W per LED tube, each RFLECT Tube delivers 75 µmol/s to the less well-lit areas. This means that with 3-4 RFLECT Tubes supplying 225-300 µmol/s PPF, you can achieve 150-220 µmol/s PPFD over an area of 1.2 x 1.2 m (1.44 m²). Together with the residual light from the main lighting and the heat generated by the RFLECT Tubes, this is sufficient to ensure high photosynthetic activity and a significant increase in both the quantity and quality of fruit—even in the lower plant sections.
The included mounting clips and daisy chain system make for easy installation. The heat produced by the RFLECT Tubes boosts plant metabolism and reduces relative humidity in the canopy.
Pruning to remove low-quality fruit and to prevent diseases such as mold is no longer necessary, saving labor and increasing yields.
RFLECT TUBES are flexible and can be used as both intercanopy and undercanopy lighting.
Overall, this can lead to a yield increase of at least 20%, and often even 30% or more per additional layer illuminated with RFLECT Tubes—without requiring more growing area!
